CaroleMakes is a local fabric and fiber small business in Plainfield. CaroleMakes utilizes a yarn truck for their mobile store, touring Indiana and bringing independently dyed yarns to Hoosiers. She dyes by hand, in her kitchen in small batches. She also has a wide selection of wool braids, handspuns and luxury angora based fibers. She raises 4 kinds of angoras for the fiber, processes and spins their fiber into yarn. Many of her rabbits are rescues, surrenders and retirees. She is thrilled to be bringing yarn, fiber and crafting classes to Hendricks County. You can find her on the road, partnering with other small businesses and vending at fiber fairs across the Midwest. She is proud to be Indiana Grown certified.
