WorkOne Plainfield is a one-stop center for career and employment resources serving jobseekers and employers. These services are provided through the Indiana Department of Workforce Development at no cost.  Services are available to all jobseekers and employers.  WorkOne offers priority of service to veterans.   Workshops are scheduled to help jobseekers to sharpen their skills and become more marketable.   Workshops are available at the Plainfield location.  WorkOne offers Indiana Career Connect (ICC), the statewide job matching system (www.indianacareerconnect.com).  ICC provides a platform for employers to post open positions and search for viable candidates.   ICC also allows jobseekers to post their resumes and apply for jobs. In addition, employers may post job flyers as well as schedule to have their own job fair at WorkOne Plainfield.   Other programs and resources are available to employers such as layoff assistance, tax credits, access to training reimbursement and local labor and wage information.
