North Salem, IN – December 12th, 2025 – The North Salem State Bank (NSSB) is very proud to announce a $250,000 donation to the Hendricks County Community Foundation (HCCF) in support of its Stronger Together: Building a Better Community campaign.  This contribution establishes The North Salem State Bank Heritage Fund, a permanent resource dedicated to strengthening Hendricks County for generations to come.

For decades, HCCF has been a steady force in advancing the well-being of Hendricks County.  With a mission to create a better community for all, HCCF offers leadership, direction, and resources when the community needs them most.  The Stronger Together campaign builds upon that legacy, serving as a shared call for engagement for residents, businesses, and organizations to unite around a shared vision of a thriving future.

The campaign aims to raise $1.5 million in unrestricted endowment funds, leveraging an extraordinary opportunity: a $3 million grant from Lilly Endowment, providing a 2:1 match that triples the impact of every donation.  Once fully funded, the campaign will generate $4.5 million to help address the county’s most pressing and evolving needs.
