North Salem, Indiana – January 29th, 2025 – The North Salem State Bank (NSSB) is proud to announce the successful completion of its annual food drive, which collected over 17,000 items and distributed them to 17 local food pantries serving Hendricks, Putnam and Boone counties. This incredible achievement reflects the bank’s tagline, “Where Caring Still Counts,” and emphasizes its ongoing commitment to supporting the communities it has proudly served for over a century.

Building on the generous donations from customers, employees and community members, the bank matched customer contributions and donated more than $25,000, solidifying the food drive as a pillar of NSSB’s community outreach eƯorts. Each donated item helps local pantries stock their shelves and provides critical resources to families in need, especially during these bitterly cold months.
